Lead Biologist
Dr. Vidya Padmakumar
Vidya connects ornithology, ecotoxicology and biodiversity research with practical environmental advice. She holds a PhD in Biosciences and is a Registered Professional Biologist (BC), Chartered Biologist and Registered Scientist. She is Editor-in-Chief of The IOU Flutter and chairs IOU’s Communications & Publications Committee, bringing international science-communication experience to the team.

Murugan is a conservation biologist based in Bengaluru, India, bringing an academic perspective to biodiversity research and ecological interpretation. His work with EcoDiversity connects scientific enquiry, conservation priorities and clear reporting. He welcomes opportunities for collaborative research and knowledge exchange.
IT Support
Sonu Sukumaran
Sonu brings postgraduate training in computer science and IT to our scientific team. He supports website design, maintenance and practical digital tools for businesses, researchers and conservation organisations, helping make their work accessible, well presented and easy to share.
