Research for conservation.

Our research interests centre on birds, biodiversity and the pressures shaping their habitats. We bring field ecology, ecotoxicology and scientific communication together to support useful conservation evidence. We welcome enquiries from universities, conservation organisations and prospective project funders.

Research themes

01 / Birds & habitats

Avifaunal surveys, habitat assessment and non-invasive observations of bird communities. Interests include migratory birds, wetlands, mangroves and freshwater ecosystems, and how habitat change shapes conservation priorities.

02 / Ecotoxicology & pressures

Research interests include persistent organic pollutants, emerging contaminants and microplastics, with attention to exposure pathways and ecological risk. Environmental data, remote sensing and modelling can help connect these pressures with habitat and wildlife observations.

03 / Evidence & communication

Literature synthesis, ecological interpretation and clear scientific reporting help make evidence useful. We are interested in collaborative studies, conference knowledge exchange, conservation education and accessible research communication, with scope and responsibilities agreed for each project.
